I have developed a new respect for venomous, scary-looking creatures since I’ve checked out how often poor spiders get their webs broken. But it’s got me wondering ‘is there a god’. For while I have now found a way to avoid running into their webs, other people or animals or even mother nature have not neccessarily experienced the tender moments that I have and are still running into and completely destroying their days work in a split second.
So as to the question of ‘is there a god’ when it comes to spiders’ webs, I think I’ll just have to let it be, otherwise if I keep thinking about it like I am, I’m going to turn into some kind of spider activist and start monitoring joggers and walkers on these paths to ensure the webs stay in tact, which would the defeat the purpose of my morning runs and would possibly gain me a few enemies.
